Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 27, 2026
Let's be honest
I believe in honest design and clear communication. This privacy policy is a straightforward explanation of how I handle information when you visit my blog. No dark patterns, no hidden catches—just transparency about what happens when you're here.
What I collect (it's minimal)
I'm not in the business of collecting your personal data. This site is a static blog: there is no third-party analytics, no ad tracking, and no account system.
- No analytics scripts: I don't use PostHog, Google Analytics, or similar tools on this site.
- Cookies: There are no analytics cookies. Your browser may cache pages locally (including if you use a service worker); that stays on your device and isn't sent to me.
What I don't do
It's important to know what I don't do with your information:
- I don't sell your data to third parties
- I don't use intrusive tracking across websites
- I don't build profiles about you or your browsing habits
- I don't use dark patterns to trick you into sharing more than you intend
- I don't use your data for targeted advertising
Why this matters
As someone who's worked in design leadership and cares about user experience, I still care about whether content lands—but I don't need invasive tracking to do that. I rely on feedback, conversations, and the same judgment I'd use in any product role.
- Keep the site fast, readable, and accessible
- Improve layout and content when something clearly isn't working
- Respect readers who prefer privacy-focused browsers and extensions
Social media and external links
My site links to social platforms like Twitter (X), LinkedIn, and Bluesky. When you click these links, you'll be subject to their privacy policies. I recommend checking those policies if you're concerned about how they handle your information.
I also link to other websites in my blog posts. I don't control these sites, so their own privacy policies will apply when you visit them.
Making choices about your data
You have control over your information while using my site:
- Most modern browsers let you clear site data or block storage if you prefer
- The site works fine with privacy-focused browsers and extensions
Changes to this approach
If I change how I handle information on this site, I'll update this page and note the date of the update. I believe in being straightforward about these things—no surprises.
